Market Update

▫️Indian bourses ended the volatile session with smart gains, thanks to hectic buying in index majors.

▫️ Sensex ended higher by 0.78% at 58,795. Nifty 50 closed with gain of 0.70% at 17,536.

▫️ Buying was seen in IT, Pharma, Realty and Energy, which was offset by selling in Banks.

▫️ Market breadth was positive. On NSE, 1,143 stocks rose and 687 stocks fell.

▫️ Gold prices continue to trade flat at 47,500 level.

▫️Crude oil prices fell sharply to $76.8 (WTI Crude) as US may strike deal with OPEC and China.

▫️ Ruppee fell by 12 paise to 74.52 amid month end dollar demand and foreign outflows from equities and debt.

▫️US markets were closed yesterday on Thanksgiving. US futures are trading with loss of more than 400 points today morning with fears of faster rate hikes.

▫️Asia is also trading in red sea with no major indices in green. SGX Nifty is down more than 1%.
